At the company’s annual event for developers in San Francisco, Google has announced its own tablet named Nexus 7, which has 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. It is powered by quad-core Tegra 3 processor with 12 core GPU and has 1GB RAM.

• Nexus runs on latest version of android operating software called jelly bean and the nexus 7 is made by asus.
• It weighs 430 grams and has 1.2 MP front camera with Wi-Fi support.
• Has been preloaded with multimedia contents including Transformers: Dark of the Moon movie.
• Has magazines like Conde Nast Traveler and Popular Science
• Songs from bands like Coldplay and the Rolling Stones
At present nexus cost $199 in US, this price is for 8 GB model and 16 GB may cost little more. It can be ordered by people in USA, Canada, Australia and UK, but no information on availability on India.
